We all know you can’t airbrush in real life and we are all for ageing gracefully, so we’ve bottled some powerful antioxidants to ensure you’ll never have to look your age! Hippies & science can sometimes make beautiful soulmates.
Some of the biggest factors of skin ageing are oxidisation, dryness and too much sun.
We've made Anti-Ageing Moisturiser to keep you looking as young as you feel. We’ve used antioxidant extracts of Liquorice Root and Resveratrol, as well as lots of healthy vitamins and soothing oils, like Olive Squalene, Borage Oil and Vitamin C to help prevent dryness as well as soothe sun-damaged skin.
“Anti-Ageing Creams” make us roll our eyes too. So we’re going to break it down and describe what they can’t do and then show you what they can do. This will help you know who's trying to over complicate things ...because you're worth it.
1. A cosmetic anti-ageing cream cannot lift muscles or affect the structure of the face. Nor can it have a botox affect. Your skin is a barrier. This means it keeps anything on the skin from reaching the fat and muscles underneath. Furthermore, any cream that did manage to affect the muscles would need to be classed as a drug.
2. Stem cells and DNA from different species will not make our human skin live longer. This sounds silly we know. But every year we see anti-ageing actives based on such things, for example, the "Immortal Button Jellyfish", “Swiss Apples”, and “Sheep's Placenta”. It seems so convincing and they have "studies" to back them up. But human DNA and cells are not the same as that of other animal kingdoms. Sure the other ingredients may be moisturising but forget the stem cells.

ABSCORBYL TETRAISOPALMITATE We know it’s a mouthful, but that’s the technical name for Vitamin C, one of the best antioxidants. Perfume descriptions are always so fancy, we thought our Aroma Balm deserved a bit of sophistication, we came up with this: A fragrant butter made from essential oils extracted from flowers and spices to give a Hippy smell to one’s body.

A Bit Hippy Cleanser For Sensitive Souls - 500ml

We’ve never quite understood why there’s a special cleanser for every part of the female body whilst blokes do with an all-over wash. Apparently washes for the face are gentler than those for the body. Our Cleanser for Sensitive Souls is as gentle as they come, so feel free to use it on your face, body, babies and blokes.
To achieve a gentle formula, we ditched Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS). SLS is a harsh detergent that is pretty much used in every cleanser because of its foaming properties. Apart from creating great foam, SLS does nothing for your skin but to strip it from its natural oils. We replaced SLS by combining several glucose-derived and coconut-derived cleansers. We found the ideal balance between cleansing without stripping.
It comes to a bit of math and ingredient. To create a gentle formula, we decided to divide the ‘cleansing ingredients’ into 4. Having 25% of different cleansing ingredients instead of 100% of just one, creates a mild formula. In addition, we actually use ‘gentle’ cleansers which are coconut and glucose derived.

Gentle Micro Exfoliant is a very fine powder designed for daily exfoliation on all skin types (including the very sensitive). We’ve combined some super charged plant-based ingredients to create a gentle, but effective formula. With growing evidence that Magnesium deficiencies are becoming more popular than ever; we thought we would give the world an alternative to those stingy magnesium oils. Our approach was to create a gentle moisturiser that would deliver a decent dose of Magnesium.
Our formula contains 15% of Magnesium Chloride flakes. This means that our nourishing moisturiser delivers 150ml of magnesium per gram of moisturiser.
So next time you're feeling oddly tired, with tight muscles and perhaps even a bit crankier than usual, go ahead and apply our Magnesium Moisturiser. We're confident you'll be pleasantly surprised.
We normally apply this cream straight after the shower when the skin is still slightly moist. Some people may find Magnesium too strong for the face, so start with the body. You wanna know what stinks? The fact that there are so many Aluminium deodorants getting around! With growing evidence to support being aluminium-free, we decided it was time to jump on board!
Many natural deodorants receive a bad rap for being in-effective or difficult to apply, which is why we have taken a different approach. It took a lot of testing to get it right, but we're confident in saying we've come up with something pretty special! We combine Milk of Magnesia and Essential Oils to keep that odour-causing bacteria under control, as well as some food grade gums to hold it all together. The result? An easy to apply roll-on Deodorant, that keep your BO away and your friends close.
BE MINDFUL! After a lifetime of blockage, it might take a fortnight or so for your armpits to completely detoxify and for our Aluminium-free deodorant to start working to its full potential. The first two weeks will be the most challenging, as you might experience a bit of BO. We encourage you to push through so you can finally set your armpits FREE!

Understanding Deodorant vs Antiperspirant.
Antiperspirants work via aluminium compounds which enter the sweat ducts and plug them closed to block perspiration. This means you end up with little aluminium plugs all throughout your underarm pores and very close to breast tissue. Sweat itself is odourless (believe it or not), so if you're noticing any BO, it's actually the result of a bacterial party in the armpits (imagine bacteria feasting on your sweat, and the by-product of their meal being BO...eww!). Our formula allows for normal perspiration, but combines Magnesium and an effective Essential Oil blend to control bacteria. No need to block your bodys natural processes, when you can actually work on the root of the problem.

Rosehip is loaded with antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins which help promote healthy, youthful skin. We've supercharged our Rosehip Oil by mixing it with extra vitamins including oil soluble Vitamin C and natural Vitamin E so it essentially becomes Rosehip with 'benefits'.
Our Vitamin C is kinda special because it is oil soluble. This means it will penetrate the skin's natural oil so it can do its job. It is one of the very best antioxidants around.
There are many synthetic forms of Vitamin E out there. We're hippies, and so our Vitamin E is au naturel. Vitamin E is another excellent antioxidant which helps prevent signs of skin ageing, like fine lines.

Shipping Information
We ship Australia wide.. We use Australia Post or Sendle to deliver our products at a flat rate of $10 per order within Australia or FREE shipping if purchasing $150.00 or more. Express shipping up to 3kgs is at a rate of $18.00
Orders will be shipped within 24 -72 hours of receipt of payment, unless your order is placed on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday, in which case an additional 24 hours may be required to pack & ship your order. Please allow 7-10 working days delivery time.
We have an inventory of our products and endeavor to keep our stock levels up to date. If, for some reason, an item is not in stock or unavailable you will be notified and given the option to back order, change or cancel the item.
All our products are shipped from Western Australia.

HOW DO I RETURN MY ONLINE ORDER?
In addition to your Statutory Rights, should you change your mind, we will happily exchange or refund providing the following conditions have been met:
- The items with the original receipt are returned within 14 days of purchase.
- Items must be in original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets attached. Garments must not have been worn. There must be NO odour of perfumes or body odours, it is at The Tribe's discrection to not allow a return if we think a garment has be worn. All home wares and giftware must be returned in its original undamaged packaging.
