Made with Activated Charcoal and the finest Pumice Stone, this slightly abrasive, castile based hand soap is infused with certified organic essential oils of wintergreen, camphor wood, scotch pine, lemon peel and vetiver, helping to soothe tired, aching hands whilst the oils create a herbaceous yet stimulating scent.
Not only will the pumice gently slough off sticky messes, but leave your hands feeling fresh, clean and soft. Wintergreen oil is often used to help alleviate muscle aches (this oil is used in Deep Heat etc). The methyl salicylate in the oil acts similarly to aspirin, making it an excellent natural remedy for sore muscles and arthritic hands.
It's anti-inflammatory properties make it effective in reducing swelling and soothing skin irritations. It's commonly found in balms and ointments to relieve minor skin and joint issues. Bees are one of the most important creatures on our planet and we rely on them for almost two thirds of our food. Bee populations are under extreme threat due to the use of agricultural chemicals including the ones we use in our own backyards.
Lil'Bit Bee Seed Balls use a technique that is thousands of years old. A mix of natural clay to protect flower seeds from insects and birds and soil/compost to provide all the nutrients needed for germination.
When conditions are right (water, sunlight), the seed ball will break down and the seeds will sprout into a mix of herbs and flowers providing habitat and food for all pollinators including native bees, butterflies, moths, flies and beetles.
Bee Balls should not actually be buried in soil, just placed (or dropped) on the soil surface. Or, you can pop them on top of dirt in a pot if you prefer. Let nature take its course, and the seeds will germinate when conditions are good. Bee patient - some of these plants may not bloom the first year, but will reward you with more blooms in subsequent years! You will not see a meadow of flowers - the balls are small and shouldn't be used for mass plantings as each ball only contains a small amount of seeds.
